Project overview
The Nail Studio website is an online booking system that allows users to browse services, choose a specialist, select an available date and time, and make a reservation directly through the website.
The project is built with Next.js and uses Supabase for the database, authentication, and real-time updates. The design is fully responsive and optimized for both mobile and desktop devices.
The website includes a homepage, services section, specialists section, gallery, About page, contact information, and an online booking form. Users can select one or multiple services, while the system automatically calculates the total duration and displays only the available time slots where the selected services can fit.
The admin panel is protected with a login system. Administrators can manage bookings, services, and specialists, add or modify working days, specify specialist absence periods, mark bookings as completed, delete reservations, and view the archive of completed bookings. The system also includes search functionality, pagination, and CSV/Excel export for downloading booking backups.
The booking logic takes into account working hours, past time slots, existing reservations, specialist schedules, and absence periods. With Supabase Realtime, changes are reflected instantly without page refreshes — for example, new bookings automatically appear in the admin dashboard.
